
UP Govt Bonus News: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to provide bonuses to state government employees for the fiscal year 2024-25 on the occasion of Diwali. The Chief Minister said that this decision symbolizes the state government’s appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the employees.
UP Govt Diwali Gift: Following the central government, the Uttar Pradesh government has also announced a Diwali bonus for its employees. On the occasion of Diwali, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has decided to give a bonus to 14.82 lakh state employees for the financial year 2024-25. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that this decision symbolizes the state government’s appreciation for the hard work and dedication of employees. Government employees play a crucial role in the state’s progress, and the government is committed to their welfare at every level.

All eligible employees will receive a bonus of ₹6,908
According to an order issued by the Finance Department, the payment of a productivity-based bonus to state government employees has been approved. This bonus will be awarded based on a monthly emoluments limit of ₹7,000, based on 30 days of emoluments. This formula will provide a benefit of ₹6,908 to each eligible employee. This decision will benefit approximately 14.82 lakh state government employees. The government will have to spend around Rs 1,022 crore from its treasury.
Money will be credited to accounts before Diwali.
The state government’s bonus covers full-time non-gazetted employees whose positions are in the Pay Matrix Level 8 (Rs. 47,600 – Rs. 1,51,100 and corresponding grade pay up to Rs. 4,800). This includes state employees, employees of state-funded educational and technical educational institutions, employees of local bodies and district panchayats, and in-charge and daily-wage employees of government departments. The Chief Minister has directed that the bonus be paid to eligible employees on time, ensuring that all families can celebrate this festival happily.
