Driving Licence New Rule: No need for driving tests at RTO, Government brought this new rule

Driving Licence: It is very difficult to get a driving license in the country. People believe that a driving license cannot be made without giving bribe or without agents but it is not so. Now the government has made the process of making DL very easy.

At the same time, many people have to give a test in the RTO to get a driving license. But now the government has brought a new rule, due to which now the driving license will be made without giving a test in the RTO. Let’s know what is the whole process.

What is the new rule

For your information, let us tell you that to make the process of driving license easier, the government has changed some rules from June 1, 2024. This change was made by the Ministry of Road and Transport. In such a situation, now to get a driving license, the applicant can also give the test by going to a private driving training center. Earlier the rule was that the applicant had to go to the RTO and give the test.

Let us tell you that this rule has been brought to get rid of the hassle of long queues in RTO. In such a situation, now the test and license eligibility certificate will be issued with the help of private institutions. Driving license will be issued to the applicants on the basis of all these necessary documents.

Where to apply from

Applying for a driving license is also very easy. To apply for DL, you have to visit the website https://parivahan.gov.in /. Along with this, you can also apply for the license by visiting the RTO. There is also different fees in the RTO for different DLs. For information, let us tell you that the fee for a learner’s license is Rs 150. At the same time, a fee of Rs 200 is charged for issuing a driving license.
