Namo Bharat Train: Namo brings a big update on India, operation on this route will begin very soon

Namo Bharat Train: National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) Managing Director Shalabh Goyal inspected the Namo Bharat corridor from Meerut South station to Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi.

Namo Bharat Train: National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) Managing Director Shalabh Goyal inspected the Namo Bharat corridor from Meerut South Station to Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi. This inspection started from Meerut South Station, the construction work of which is completed and soon the Namo Bharat Train will start operating on this section.

Goyal closely inspected the operational preparations of the station and reviewed the parking facility. According to this, the operation of Meerut Metro will start from this station and passengers traveling from Meerut South to Modipuram will get convenience from this.

Namo Bharat train will be connected to Meerut metro

According to the release, this station has three platforms, two of which are for Namo Bharat Train and one for Meerut Metro. It said that the eight kilometer section from Modi Nagar North Station to Meerut South Station will soon be opened to the public, so that passengers will be able to reach Meerut South from Ghaziabad in a few minutes.

Namo Bharat train work is going on on this route

At present, the Namo Bharat train is undergoing testing between Modi Nagar North and Meerut South stations. It was said that Goyal also inspected the Modi Nagar North to Sahibabad corridor. The train is running on a part of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Goyal inspected this route in Namo Bharat. During the inspection, Goyal interacted with the station controller, train operator and other operational personnel and learned about the challenges they face daily.

There are 8 stations between Sahibabad and Modi Nagar.

At present, Namo Bharat train is operating on a 34 km route between Sahibabad and Modi Nagar North and there are a total of eight stations in this section. With the opening of the section from Modi Nagar North to Meerut South, operations will begin on this 42 km section and the total number of stations will become nine.

The Managing Director also inspected the New Ashok Nagar and Sarai Kale Khan stations under construction in Delhi. 14 km of RRTS falls under Delhi, out of which five km is underground.
